Diet, the worst four letter word in history!  If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably tried more diets than you care to admit. Keto, partial keto, Atkins, intermittent fasting, Vegan, and the list goes on… The problem with all these diets is that there’s nothing magical about any of them! Sure, we all know how important it is to have our veggies and fruits, some protein, and a few carbs. We know that too much sugar is bad, too much fat is bad, and lots of water is good. And all of these diets offer some part of this. Keto cuts out so much sugar and carbs. Vegan cuts out fatty meats and dairy. But the truth is, meat is not all bad, bread is not all bad, and Thank God! Cheese is not all bad. The bad comes in too much. You know the phrase. Too much of a good thing. So if you’re frustrated with your diet, or looking for the next celeb diet to try. Stop! Eat whatever you want! But eat it in balance. The best way is to set a daily calorie count based on your lifestyle for your dayand whatever you eat, just keep close to that calorie. That second donut may not be worth the extra 700 calories, that extra extra sweet frappe might not be worth skipping a whole meal. Just be balanced.
